The Land Rover Santana 88 is a noble workhorse. It is an exceptionally capable off-road vehicle that basically lives on today in the current Land Rover Defender. It is such a capable off-road vehicle that they are often literally driven into the ground. We therefore rarely see an original and in good condition Land Rover Santana 88. The hard working life is a dance that miraculously enough seems to have escaped this Series 3 completely. This example was delivered new on 29-09-1972 and the odometer reads 67,330 kilometers. This beautiful example was restored years ago with an eye for quality. This can still be seen to this day. The navy gray paint in combination with the beige hood is a beautiful classic look. The car stands on steel rims in the color of the car, surrounded by good tires in the correct sizes. And what about the spare wheel mounted on the hood.

This example is a so-called station wagon and therefore offers space for 7 people. The instruments and controls all function as they should and look good.

The car is powered by the rock-solid diesel engine and a manual transmission. The four-wheel drive can be engaged separately and ensures infinite grip on any terrain. The engine is practically indestructible and delivers a lot of torque at the bottom of the rev range. The transmission and brakes function as they should. And if you want to tow a trailer or horse trailer, you can do this with the original mounted towbar.

The condition of the car can therefore only be described as very good.
