Introduced in 2001, the third-generation Range Rover represented a significant evolution of the marque's celebrated luxury off-roader. Known internally as the L322, its combination of imposing styling, exceptional refinement and genuine cross-country ability established a template that many subsequent luxury SUVs would attempt to emulate. The arrival of the 3.6 litre twin-turbocharged TDV8 further enhanced the model's appeal. Producing considerable torque, it delivered effortless performance through a smooth six-speed automatic transmission. Permanent four-wheel drive, adjustable air suspension and Land Rover's Terrain Response system ensured that the Range Rover remained exceptionally capable away from the road, while its quiet and beautifully appointed cabin made it equally accomplished as a long-distance luxury car.

The Autobiography represented the pinnacle of the L322 range, combining commanding road presence with an especially luxurious and comprehensively equipped interior. Owned from new by a hedge fund manager and taken on by our vendor in 2020, it has evidently been maintained without compromise and presents in outstanding condition throughout.
