Beschreibung

Harry Alexander Classic Cars is delighted to offer for sale this incredibly rare Landmark Special Edition Land Rover Defender 90 with one owner from new.

One of just 200 produced, this Defender 90 was first registered on the 30th of September 2015. Resplendent in its Corris Grey metallic paintwork, this example has covered just 37, 372 miles and would make an excellent addition to any collection - especially having had zero previous registered keepers.

The Land Rover Defender 90 Landmark Edition is among the last production examples of the iconic first generation of Defender. It is powered by the 2. 2-litre DT224 diesel engine producing 120bhp mated to a six speed manual transmission and of course, with permanent four-wheel drive.

It is a noticeably easier, smoother and more calming drive than earlier Defender examples yet not detracting in any way from the unique and dynamic capabilities of this groundbreaking model loved the world over. The smooth 6 speed gearbox and enhanced refinement of the 2. 2 TDCI engine is obvious.

The Landmark Edition was one of the special run-out models offered by Land Rover to mark the end of an era, with the eventual end of production of the Defender coming in January 2016.

There was a limited choice of colours available, but all of the Landmark Defenders were fitted with the 16-inch diamond-turned silver alloy wheels which do look fantastic and really suit the car and make it unique from any standard variants.

A ‘Black Pack’ with gloss black finish to the headlight fascias, wing vents, wheel arches, front grille, and bonnet script; a gloss black roof and rear privacy glass also set the Landmark Edition apart from a standard model. Completing the exterior differentiation are side step protection runners.

The interior is a wonderful place to be, striking a good balance of maintaining the utilitarian nature of the Defender whilst adding some unmistakingly luxurious features. Full premium leather upholstery, heated seats, black Alcantara headlining, a leather steering wheel and air conditioning to name a few.

An Alpine CD radio head unit with Bluetooth linking to an Alpine subwoofer in the base of the cubby box make for an impressive sound system and complete a wonderful interior and driving experience.

This example retains its Land Rover ‘welcome pack’, owners manual, service booklet, original invoice, delivery papers and V5 stating previous registered keepers as ‘none’.

This is therefore a low mileage, one owner example of a runout special edition, highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts of the Land Rover brand and history.

Inspection welcome. Located in Gloucestershire. Harry Alexander Classic Cars Limited is marketing and selling this vehicle on behalf of the owner. Export and shipping to international buyers can be arranged with ease.
