This Defender, built in 2012, was delivered new to Germany and, still as a new car, immediately imported into Switzerland where it was registered for the first time on the 21st of February 2013. The proud owner had his car equipped with pedals, gear shift knob, parking brake lever and steering wheel from the well-known Land Rover specialist Matzker. In addition, a set of Land Rover 16-inch aluminium rims and a Garmin navigation system completed the picture. In 2020, with around 58’000 kilometres driven, the Land Rover was taken over by the vendor from its first owner. Since then, the Defender has been driven sparingly and was usually parked at the owners’ holiday residence. In 2023, in preparation for the MOT, the Landy received new disc brake rotors and pads on the front axle. In addition, in November 2023 an oil change was performed. The Land Rover has had two owners only, has covered 67’000 kilometres and boasts a complete service booklet. It is in very good and cherished condition. The 2.2 litre diesel engine delivering 122 horsepower is running faultlessly and the 6-speed manual gearbox shifts in a typical rustic manner. Certified with 7 seats and 3’500 kilogramme pulling capacity, this cult off-roader certainly provides a lot of possibilities. The last MOT was completed in September 2023 and the Defender can therefore be registered immediately.
