This is a very attractive 2006 Land Rover Defender with the much loved TD5 engine. The car was delivered new in Spain and therefore completely free of rust. The car was ordered new there by a lady with excellent taste. She further decorated the car with, among other things, larger wheels with good off-road tires, a snorkel and extra lighting. It is a car that is immediately pleasant on the retina. This example has less than 90,000 kilometres on the clock and will undoubtedly guarantee many years of on- and off-road driving pleasure.

Despite the fact that this is a car with serious off-road qualities, this car has not had a hard life and has mainly been driven on the street. Both the chassis and the body are in very good condition. The chassis is completely free of rust and is in good condition. the bodywork also looks neat. The sheet metal is nice and thin and the fits are correct. The body and paint obviously have some light signs of use that match the age and mileage of the car, but nothing noticeable. The accessories such as the extra lamps and snorkel are also in very good condition.

The interior is also neatly maintained and cared for. The Defender's dashboard and instruments are all original and function as they should. The rest of the dashboard is also completely original and looks neatly cared for. The buttons are all very large so that you can quickly switch on or off the required function even while driving off the beaten track. The car is equipped with a gear lever for the transmission and a lever for engaging the four-wheel drive. The steering wheel and headliner are also in well-maintained condition. The upholstery on the seats is made of solid material, which can take a beating, as you would expect from a car of this kind. The overall condition of the interior endorses the low mileage and can last for years to come.

The technology has always been well maintained over the years. Thanks to the characteristic five-cylinder barrel, the TD5 engine is still very popular among Land Rover enthusiasts and not unjustly. The engine has an enormous amount of torque directly at the bottom of the rev range and therefore runs excellent. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission with selectable four-wheel drive. The car is equipped with beautiful off-road tires and wider steel rims. The undercarriage and brakes are also in good condition and the steering is of course free of play.

In short, not only a beautiful Land Rover Defender 110 TD5 to see but also a pleasure to travel with. A car that can do everything and that doesn't look out of place anywhere. After a few kilometres in the Defender, it is already clear why people continue to fall for the inexhaustible charm of this model since the end of production of the original Defender.
