This is a rare UK supplied right hand drive Fulvia 1.6 HF model first registered on the 22nd December 1971. A matching numbers example, it retains all of the detail features of the 1.6 HF and is in superb condition in all respects.

A substantial history file details the history of the car over many years, many invoices and correspondence detail how carefully the Fulvia has been looked after. The recorded mileage of 54,000 could well be correct, there are many MOT certificates on file, the earliest indicating a mileage of 28,000 miles in 1983.

Most recently a bare metal glass out repaint has been completed, stripping the car revealed it to be remarkably corrosion free, it was refinished in the original correct shade of red and any parts or trim requiring attention were refinished or replaced. All wheels were stripped and refinished with new wheel trim parts.

A full mechanical inspection followed, and a full service completed with any faults found being corrected as detailed in invoicing on file.

A really delightful Fulvia that presents beautifully, it also drives extremely well with a fluency one only finds in a well set up example. It’s certainly quick, not least of all due to the Dellorto carb conversion, an accepted albeit expensive upgrade that greatly enhances performance and flexibility. The original carbs have been rebuilt and come with the car.
