- Elegant Italian Coupéé
- The charm of the "barn find"
- One owner from new

Succeeding the Aurelia, the Lancia Flaminia appeared in 1957, the same year than a Coupée and a convertible. In 1958, at the Turin Motor Show, the Flaminia Sport designed by Zagato was unveiled, featuring a lightweight aluminum bodywork with much appreciated design. It used the same short-wheelbase chassis as the GT. Its 2.5 liter V6 engine developed 119bhp. We can recognize the touch of Zagato by the famous double bubble roof. The number of units produced is very low, but varies according to different sources. Either way, it has always been considered as one of the most elegant of Italian Coupéés ever.

This Lancia Flaminia in particular, which can be described as a "barn find", was discovered in Belgium, where it was stored with other cars since the 1970s, probably since the death of its sole owner. The aluminum body shows no trace of an accident and the Connolly leather upholstery needs to be cleaned. The 2800 engine fitted with a Solex carburettor has not seized, but the rest of the car requires a comprehensive restoration.
The car has no papers except the declaration of registration by the Lancia garage that sold it. The chassis number and engine number are original.
This is a fantastic opportunity to start a restoration project of a rare Flaminia Zagato Sport, with the more powerful 2800 engine version, which has never been restored since its purchase in 1960.
