Chassis No. ZLA831AB000586361

Born from the unforgiving stages of World Rally Championship competition where the Delta secured an unprecedented six consecutive Manufacturers' titles from 1987 to 1992, the Evoluzione II emerged in June 1993 as the ultimate expression of the Delta Integrale homologation special. Compared with its predecessor, the Evoluzione II featured uprated turbos, revised camshafts, and a new intercooler layout that increased boost and power to approximately 212 horsepower. Suspension geometry was refined, brakes were enlarged, and 16-inch alloy wheels mounted with performance tires were fitted to sharpen handling.

To mark the end of Delta Integrale production, Lancia released the Collezione, also known as the "Edizione Finale," in late 1994-limited to just 250 cars in total. Created specifically at the request of Japanese importers and enthusiasts, this exclusive edition was reserved solely for the Japanese domestic market. Distinguished by its striking Rosso Amaranto (Amaranth Red) paint with the iconic yellow and blue HF center stripe reminiscent of the Fulvia HF, the Edizione Finale featured unique equipment including Eibach springs, an OMP rear strut brace, revised engine management, and distinctive 16-inch Speedline Monte Carlo wheels finished in Anthracite. Black Alcantara-upholstered Recaro seats, a MOMO Corse steering wheel, silver gauge cluster fascia, drilled aluminum pedals, a push-button starter, and unique carbon fiber trim rounded out the interior details.

This exceptional example, chassis number 121 of the 250 produced, was completed on 28 December 1994. Its Lancia Certificato d'Origine notes that it was additionally optioned with manual air conditioning, owner's manual in English, and a wax-coating treatment. The Delta spent much of its life in its home market of Japan where it changed hands through four successive Japanese owners from 1997 to 2010. Japanese documentation reveals recorded odometer readings by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism recording just 4,200 kilometers by 2007, and 21,400 kilometers by 2009. Following its de-registration and export from Japan in late 2010, the car spent eight years in Victoria, Australia, before joining the current owner's collection in Newport Beach, California, in March 2018.

Recognizing the significance of this limited-edition Delta, a comprehensive refurbishment was commissioned by Tanc Barratt Ltd., renowned U.K. specialists in Delta Integrale preparation, in 2019. The £30,000 investment ensured every mechanical and cosmetic detail met the highest standards. More recently, in March 2025, Lancia specialist Filippo Cusimano performed a thorough service including all fluids, air conditioning recharge, and replacement of front and rear brake discs and pads, confirming the car's readiness for its next caretaker.

The car retains its complete complement of original accessories, including original manuals, toolkit, and spare tire. The car is additionally accompanied by a Lancia Certificato di Origine documenting its production specifications, as well as a mileage statement from Tanc Barratt testifying that the car's condition is commensurate with the current mileage. Now offered with 33,417 kilometers at the time of cataloging and benefiting from diligent care, this Delta Integrale Evoluzione II Collezione is ready to stand out in any rallying-focused collection and be enjoyed for its WRC-winning performance.
