Beschreibung

The 1992 season saw the debut of the Delta HF Integrale “Evoluzione”, a car profoundly renewed compared to its ancestors, especially as regards the geometry of the suspension.
From the first special stages of the Monte Carlo Rally it was clear that the Deltona would still be the car to beat in the Championship.
The Turin berlinetta finished on the podium in all ten races included in the Constructors' Championship, winning eight wins and four double wins. 1992 ended with the sixth consecutive Marche title for Lancia, while in the Drivers' Championship, Kankkunen and Didier Auriol respectively finished second and third, after a daring season finale that gave Sainz the title.
The Delta was also one of the first all-wheel drive compact sports cars, equipped with ABS as standard.
Several limited editions of the Lancia Delta HF Integrale have been produced, today highly coveted by collectors. The most iconic and recognizable is undoubtedly the Delta Martini 5, built to honor the fifth world title in 400 units.
