Particularly beautiful Lancia Beta HPE 1600. This specimen was delivered new in Italy on January 13, 1978 and spent a very long time in a garage under a hotel in Tuscany, Italy. The Beta is in a super original and untouched condition and has only driven 36,451 kilometers. The body is beautiful and all the fittings of the sheet metal are perfect. The ocher-yellow interior is original and is in very good condition. The "Rosso York" paintwork is very original and still has a nice shine. The underside is also original, very cool and absolutely rust-free. It is a rare 1600 HPE version of which only 2,500 copies were made. HPE stands for High Performance Estate, a car designed by Pininfarina. The design looks like a cross between a hatchback and a shooting brake, the HPE was therefore far ahead of its time in terms of design. In recent years much technical work has been done on the car.
