Only 740 units have been produced that year and the total production is just 2080 units.

The Lancia Certificate of Origin confirms that it was sold new in Italy and the originality of the factory colour, a wonderful and rare metallic blue with red interior, and athermic windows and power rear window as options.

It was left unused since 1992, in 2017 it was restarted; a number of works have been carried out, including a new paintwork in the original colour which is still bright, some gaskets, and several visual and mechanical details.

Interior is soft and well preserved, in a beautiful ruby colour.

Rare parts of the first series are present (grille, rear flaps, 13" rims),
and the car is very original. The engine and boot compartments are clean and neat.

The engine starts well and the compression test showed excellent values, probably it was recently redone (as shown in photos). Gearbox is smooth, and suspension and steering work well.

The bodywork was measured with feeler gauge and didn’t show any signs of accidents, with very good values (as shown in photos).

Electrical system completely restored and in fully working condition: dashboard, headlights, ignition, etc.

Power windows are in working order.

It is increasingly hard to find solid and original Beta Montecarlo cars like this one with a known history and a beautiful colour.
The Coupé versions are transformed into replicas of Lancia 037, Turbo, Abarth, etc.

It is roadworthy and it was tested, but an overall check is advisable before daily use.

Technical inspection expired in September 2020 and the car is a direct purchase from the old owner, without any inspection.
