Chassis No. ZHWBE91N9ALA03997

Unmistakable in design and inspiration, the Lamborghini Reventón Roadster distilled the drama of the Reventón's fighter jet influences into one of the rarest and most iconic open-top supercars of its era. Limited to 15 examples worldwide, the Reventón Roadster previewed the avant-garde design language that continues to define Lamborghini's modern era.

The Roadster was a direct, fully roofless evolution of the Reventón Coupe, Lamborghini's first modern limited-production halo car that paved the way for hypercars such as the Sesto Elemento, Centenario, and beyond. Mechanically based on the Murcielago LP640 featuring its V12 and Viscous Traction permanent all-wheel drive system, the Reventón distinguished itself with an all-carbon fiber body designed by Filippo Perini and inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter jet. Its futuristic lines previewed the design language of the Aventador and introduced innovations such as Lamborghini's first daytime running lights, electronically controlled active aerodynamics, and wheels fitted with carbon fiber fans used to cool the brakes. Each example featured a serialized plaque, a dramatic cockpit with a liquid-crystal instrument cluster offering both automotive and aircraft-style readouts, and seats trimmed in Black leather and grey Alcantara.

Unveiled at the 2008 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Reventón Roadster was far more than simply an open cockpit version of its Coupe sister-and the 2010 example offered here embodies that vision. One of just 15 Roadsters produced, it was factory-finished in Grigio Reventón: a light matte metallic silver visually distinct from the darker matte grey Grigio Barra color reserved for the Coupe, but retains the standard Reventón's unique two-tone black and grey interior. Its striking silhouette is distinguished by subtle revisions unique to the Roadster, including a spoiler integrated between the rear fins with a central brake light and a near-horizontal engine cover-giving the Roadster a silhouette as striking as it is purposeful. Reinforced chassis components and deployable roll hoops that spring out in just a few hundred milliseconds in the event of a rollover reestablish structural integrity and safety to match the car's open-air drama. Beneath its reshaped engine cover lies the uprated 6.45-liter V12 from the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, producing 670 PS and 660 Nm through a six-speed E-gear automatic transmission. This is sufficient to launch the car from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and on to a 330 km/h top speed, despite a 25-kilogram weight increase added by its safety systems.

The car was sold new by Lamborghini Porrentury in Switzerland, where it was serviced by the dealership before being acquired in 2019 by its current caretaker. Remaining in storage at the dealership in Switzerland since purchase, it has been driven sparingly and shows just 2,423 kilometers at cataloging. A new battery has also been fitted. This exceptionally low-mileage Lamborghini Reventón Roadster remains among the rarest and most striking Lamborghinis. Its fighter jet-inspired design and extreme scarcity ensure it will remain a show-stopping enhancement for any collection.
