As one of the most iconic vehicles ever produced, the Lamborghini Miura redefined what an automobile was capable of, and was the pioneer of the term “Supercar”. Built to prove a point to Enzo Ferrari and the other sports car manufacturers of the day, the Miura was developed by Ferruccio Lamborghini and a team of young engineers in the mid 60’s. The Miura utilised what was an uncommon and revolutionary design, placing a laterally mounted V12 in the centre of the vehicle. The Miura was designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, and the result was what people call the most beautiful vehicle of all time. The looks and performance of the Miura combined to leave other manufacturers scrambling and set a new benchmark for what a sports car could be.

Leaving the Bologna factory on June 28th 1968, this Lamborghini Miura P400 was sold new in Paris, France. Presenting in Giallo Fly Yellow over black leather interior, this example was subject to a full “nut and bolt” restoration including a bare metal respray, period correct re-upholstery, a full engine and driveline rebuild, and a complete rewiring of all electronics. This restoration was fully documented and was completed with total originality in mind. Today, the vehicle presents in concours condition.

The 4.0L V12 is paired to a 5-speed manual, providing the raw and exhilarating driving experience these cars are so well known for. This example has been meticulously maintained with no expenses spared during the mechanical rebuild, resulting in a Miura drives beautifully and is in excellent mechanical order.
Accompanying the car is a file including previous ownership history, a detailed log of the restoration process, and registration information dating back to 1973. Rare to find with such provenance, this vehicle would complement any collection. This is an outstanding opportunity to own a piece of Italy’s rich motor history.
