Beschreibung

"The nearest thing to a Cosworth I have ever driven on the road !" said Jonathan Palmer, ex-Tyrrell & Williams F1 driver.

The very rare Jalpa - only 300 in Lhd Euro - is the best V8 Lamborghini. The already exciting Twin-Cam 3-litre of the Urraco P300 designed by Paolo Stanzani, father of the Countach, was further developped by Giulio Alfieri, of Maserati fame, who had just joined Sant'Agata.

Enlarged to 3,5 litre, and with 20 per cent more torque, available on a much broader range, the Jalpa engine is described as the closest thing to a V8 Cosworth, both by Williams F1 driver J. Palmer, and by MotorSport magazine.

The Jalpa 3500 is, with sister model Silhouette, the only Classic Lamborghini (pre-Chrysler/Audi) available as open-top. Collectors know that 2-seaters and spiders are definitely the most sought-after of all Classics.
Furthermore, the Jalpa shares her prestigious 2-seater concept only with the Miura and the contemporary Countach.

Our JALPA 3500 is still in her original Rosso over Champagne leather colour scheme. Our example is one of the very first ever built, delivered new in Monaco. Its history is very exceptional, since it has been dry-parked for 25 years at a former Lamborghini importer's garage. Odometer indicates only 2,800 km !

When you inspect the car, and when you hear how the engine starts & runs, the feeling is unmistakable: this classic Lamborghini is a one-of-a-kind find.

Since the paintwork, partly original, has to be redone, the upholstery (almost new) was dismantled by the previous owner and needs to be reassembled. Apart from this cosmetic work, the car needs 2 side windows (only the large ones) and carpets.
Price is very exceptional considering the history and condition of this thoroughbred.

With very moderate work, essentially cosmetic, this Lamborghini thoroughbred will be the pride and joy of any Collector, especially considering her very unique history and condition.

Available in Paris (France) ; we can ship our Classic to your door. Visit wwww.autodrome.fr for more Classics.
