The Lagonda Earls court Chassis was features at the Motor Show in 1950. This chassis was sent to New York USA for publicity in April of 1950 and following this was then shipped to Australia where it remained a display piece throughout Melbourne showrooms. This Chassis was then purchased and relocated to Sydney NSW and became a fascination among other showrooms.

All up, this chassis has been stored for over 50 years and in 1953 it was known to be stored at Waterloo as the last documented location of the chassis until 1975. It was found in a container at a storage complex. The classic car Museum commissioned the restoration, detailing and conservation of this only surviving original display W O Bentley designed Chassis and engine.

Features The twin overhead cam inline six-cylinder motor with alloy cylinder head and twin SU carburettors, 4-speed David Brown gearbox, Cruciform chassis 'Independent front suspension with coil springs and wish bones, Rear suspension was fully independent with a 'de Dion' axle, longitudinal torsion bars and inboard drum brakes.

Undergone an extensive restoration, the featured chrome had been completely revived along with the chassis painted in a 'Gloss Black'. The 'Diff' and 'universals' are featured in a red as well as the brake drums in to match. This example showcases its meticulous restoration with the brake and hydraulic lines chromed also.

This highly collectible example was believed to originate from a Lagonda 2 ¬Ω L chassis and presents as an investment opportunity to the right collector, being a one of a kind example.
