This vehicle was delivered new to Louis Draper of East Beverley, Western Australia in January 1924. It was built in the factory as a RHD to comply with export markets such as the UK and Australia.

During its previous ownership, it received a full ground up restoration in the late 1990s including original engine rebuild, re-spray of the original body and new period correct interior.

Powered through a 248.9 cu 6-cylinder engine and mated to a 3-speed manual transmission, the Jewett Tourer was the economic answer during production years with over 40,000 units being sold across all variants and years. This vehicle retains its original owner's manuals, tool kits and bill of sale to verify its original delivery.

This is one of the earliest Australian delivered vehicles in existence today and presents a rare opportunity that would suit any classic car enthusiast.

The Jewett marque was introduced in 1922 under the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company banner until it was absolved in 1926. It was marketed as the company's flagship brand to the wealthy elite of USA and abroad. Sitting atop of the Jewett family tree was the 18-22 De Luxe Phaeton Tourer which featured drop-head coachwork with seating for 4 and a 6-cylinder engine which produced 50bhp.
