Such a great example of 1980’s Americana, this top of the line Wagoneer Limited is believed to be the only example of its type in Europe and is undoubtedly one of the finest in existence.

The Jeep has a full and very interesting history from new – beginning when a very good customer of the highly regarded Bramley Cars in Surrey saw a Wagoneer on his travels and requested them to source such a car. Jeep had a very limited presence in the UK market at this time, indeed the SUV market was in its infancy and the Wagoneer was not available to the UK market. The then proprietor of Bramley, Mr Graham Cook, was not one to give up easily however and his exhaustive research led to Mr Steven Ouveroff, owner of The American Car Centre in Barnes, London. They were able to order a brand new Wagoneer Limited model from the US and import it into the UK.

The delighted new owner received the Wagoneer at his house in St Moritz in time for Christmas in 1988, indeed the car remained in the heated underground garage beneath his house in the ski resort throughout his ownership. During this time it shared garage space with an original model Mercedes 600, a Monteverdi High Speed Coupe, Porsche 959 and an Audi Quattro Sport.

A couple of years later Graham Cook of Bramley bought the car back from his customer and obviously liked the Wagoneer as he has kept it to this day. It has been used mainly for shorter trips around the Guildford area and as anyone who knows Graham would expect, it has been scrupulously maintained. After several years in storage a complete inspection and re-commissioning service has just been completed.

Unique to these shores, this lovely Wagoneer is in excellent order in all respects, it has had just two owners from new and has covered only 65,000 miles. Stylish, very cool, and so usable with a great back story.
