Engine no. V4808-8 Finished on 24 September 1957, this car was immediately exported to the USA, where it was sold new by Jaguar Cars of New York.
Since being imported to Italy in 2007, the car had only two owners, the last purchasing it in 2010.

The color scheme of Old English White over Red interiors with red hood and matching hood cover is correct for the year and model, although this car was originally produced in Carmen Red, with black hood and interiors.

It is equipped with period-correct leather baquet seats, an enhanced braking system, electric power steering (invisible), an aluminum radiator, a stainless steel fuel tank, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, an alternator in place of the original dynamo, and a hidden socket for connection of a battery charge maintainer.
All original components removed from the car, namely the steering wheel, dynamo, fuel tank, radiator (in need of restoration) and seats (in need of restoration), will, if requested, be supplied to the buyer.
