The car can be reconized by the softtop which falls totally in the car. The car is in a mint condition , beautiful paint, leather like new, woodveneer is top, softtop is like new, this is probably one of the most beautiful cars of The Netherlands in a mint condition. From 1986 the full convertible version was available through some dealers, modified by Hess & Eisenhardt in the USA.The Hess & Eisenhardt car production firm was located in Ohio, USA, and built about 893 of these cars under contract from Jaguar before the official Jaguar-built XJS full convertible appeared in 1988.In 1988 the factory was destroyed by a big fire. After the fire , Jaguar, inspired by Hess und Eissenhardt , started the production of convertibles themselfes. The Hess & Eisenhardt convertible differed from the later Jaguar convertible XJS as its unpadded top folded down deeper into the body structure of the car resulting in a cleaner rear profile when the roof was lowered. To accommodate this design element, the Hess & Eisenhardt convertibles have two separate fuel tanksThe car can be viewed and picked up in Holten, Netherlands. This is a used vehicle. It is advisable to view the vehicle before bidding, to avoid disappointment afterwards.
