This beautiful Jaguar is a Swiss delivered example and was first registered on the 1st May 1982 in the Zurich Canton. Little is known of the early years of its existence but the emission control document and invoices available from 2002 would indicate that the car probably has had three owners since 1995 until it was taken over by the vendor in January 2023. The XJ was obviously enthusiastically driven as is demonstrated with the 288’000 kilometres indicated, a feat which is only possible by providing regular maintenance. In 2022 the car received an exchange engine including the gearbox, both having covered 110,000 kilometres at the time of installation. The coachwork was repainted in the same year and the leather interior restored. The Jaguar now presents itself in good to very good condition and is certain to provide years of enjoyment to the new owner. The last veteran MOT was completed in October 2023.
