Jaguar MK IX Saloon 1961 LHD Original ex-Belgian Jaguar boss Jacques De Clippel

Ah, who wouldn't love to live the highlights of the Jaguar heydays again?
Well, you could and even at a very affordable price!
This very stylish top-of-the-range 1961 Jaguar MK IX saloon invites you to become part of these glorious days.
Imported new in 1961 into Belgium by the dynamic Mr. Jacques De Clippel, the Antwerp Jaguar dealer Centrauto, who initially under the guidance and protection of the illustrious "Jaguar dame" Joska Bourgeois, became himself some years later, the Belgian Jaguar importer.
It was in his personal collection, this MK IX remained for quasi all its life. On one side there is the car's very nicely documented history, but on the other, there is the even more magnificent original interior of this MK IX which catapults you back in time of those Jaguar heydays.
Just lay back and enjoy the traditional English-club-comfort in the nicely patinated original light blue-grey leather seats surrounded by somptuous walnut veneer on dashboard and trim.

Still today, the refinement of this top of the range Jaguar saloon is very obvious when driving this MK IX. Excellent performance from the famous twin overhead cam 3.8 six-cilinder XK engine, smooth gearchange from the Borg-Warner automatic gearbox, two-fingers light assisted steering and very effective brakes thanks to the all-round discs.
Almost too good to be true, but yes it really is: all this charm, elegance, fascinating history and quality, reunited in this attractive Jaguar MK IX offered for sale at the very fair selling price of: 35.000 Euro.
