CRW 15K retains its original engine, gearbox and Coventry number plate, offered today with just 52,000 miles from new. Still in its factory colour combination of Azure Blue and the Black/navy Leather interior which remains untouched. CRW 15K has a comprehensive history which shows the car had 14,000 miles when it was four years old, and was located north of Birmingham in 1977. From 1979 to 1984 it was based in Derby with 35,000 miles, the car then moved to Sheffield in 1984, before being sold in 1987 and moving to York. By 1990 the mileage was 43,900 miles and the car was sold to a gentleman based in Manchester where it resided for 19 years. It was purchased by a well-known classic car dealer in Yorkshire in 2009 at 48,000 miles. The car was serviced in house with new brake discs and pads fitted, it was then sold and moved to Scotland and then to Leicestershire. In 2010 the car was repainted by Jaguar specialist; work included new inner and outer wheel arch sections, new sill sections and lower quarter panels. There is a photographic history showing this restoration, the car was also fitted with a TT super sport exhaust system and oil gauge taking the Leicestershire owners cost to just under £7,000. In 2011 the car was sold to a private gentleman with the mileage of 50,500 miles, it stayed in his ownership until 2019 when our client purchased the car, over the past 8 years it had only covered 150 miles per year and had been fully maintained with receipts for over £4,000 worth of work including, new brake servo, braided front brake hoses, handbrake pads, new manifold gasket re-conditioned power steering rack, electronic ignition, new anti-roll bar bushes and new bonnet catch. In the current ownership the car was treated to a fresh repaint and new fuel pump.

​CRW 15K has never required a full restoration, with thirty six MOT certificates this car is a rare example of an honest, original and low mileage UK E-Type. The car has the benefit of a period webasto sunroof, original patinated leather seats, door cards and beautiful carpets. Prior to offering CRW 15K we test drove the car and can report it is outstanding in every respect, the engine performs perfectly and the automatic transmission changes smoothly.

The car comes with inspection reports, tax discs, MOT's, invoices, old logbooks and photographs and retains some wonderful original features
