This beautiful E-Type was built in December 1961 and has been delivered to New York in January 1962. In July 1962 the roadster was registered for the first time in Beverly Hills, California by its first owner. There is no record of the car's history until 2009. The only thing certain is that the Jaguar has been restored in the time across the Atlantic, and by this occasion it changed from "Opalescent Gunmetal" with red leather upholstery to the current combination with red paint and black leather. The Matching Numbers engine and the original Moss gearbox have been overhauled in 2010. A copy of the JDHT certificate is available. In 2011 the car has been imported to Switzerland and after extensive reconditioning it was presented for the first time in March 2012 at MOT in Zurich. The E-Type is in very good condition and drives excellent. The last Swiss MOT including the desireable veteran status was completed in January 2020.
