Presented here is one of the first one hundred E-Type coupés built largely by hand at Jaguar’s Coventry facility. Registered in November 1961, the left-hand-drive car is also the very first E-Type Fixed-Head Coupé to be registered in Portugal. Perhaps most important, it was built prior to February 1962 and is an early 'flat floor' example so coveted by collectors.

The car has been restored to its original colour scheme of Opalescent Grey over a Carmine Red leather interior, and importantly, the car retains its original engine with matching-numbers head and block. The restoration was completed over a period of five years using genuine Jaguar parts whenever possible. A true highlight of Mr. Sáragga’s collection, this is an extraordinary opportunity to purchase an important example of an early E-Type, beautifully restored in its stunning original factory colours.

Este exemplar é um dos primeiros 100 E-Type coupé quase integralmente produzidos à mão na fábrica da Jaguar, em Coventry. Matriculado em novembro de 1961, este E-Type de condução à esquerda é também o primeiro de carroçaria coupé registado em Portugal. Talvez ainda mais importante, foi construído antes de 1962, e é um dos mais antigos “flat floor”, tão cobiçado pelos colecionadores.

Foi restaurado ao longo de cinco anos, utilizando componentes genuínos Jaguar sempre que possível. Exibe a combinação de cores original, pintado em cinzento metalizado Opalescent Grey e interior em pele vermelha Carmine. E, muito importante, mantém o seu motor original, com os números corretos na cabeça do motor e no bloco.
