Beschreibung
"Honda XL250 is a four-stroke 250cc motorcycle introduced in 1972 and manufactured through most of the 1980s. When it appeared, it was the first modern four-stroke enduro motorcycle and the first mass-produced four-valve motorcycle. The XL250 an ‘Enduro’ or dual-sport bike meaning it physically looks like a dirt bike, and shares many characteristics with a dirt bike, but it is street-legal and intended for on and off road use. The bike is completely mechanically operated as there are no hydraulics on the bike. The 250cc four-stroke motor produces 24 horsepower at the wheel, weighs 288lbs with oil, grease, and petrol. Demand for this model has remained high among collectors and enthusiasts.
This lovely example is offered with just 29,706 miles on the odometer and in good condition, it is presented in the same Honda colours of silver with red that are found with an accompanying sales brochure. This bike was first registered in the UK on 1st March 1984 but originally built in 1972. The history file accompanying this bike boasts a workshop manual, previous MoT test certificates and receipts. This is a rare and early model XL250 and one of the first modern endure bikes produced making this is a very collectable Honda.
