CAPA Performance, Linden Specialists, and Holden share a close relationship within Australia's performance automotive scene. CAPA (CAPA Performance) is a renowned performance tuning and engineering company specialising in forced induction systems, such as superchargers and turbo kits, particularly for Australian vehicles. Linden Specialists were a well-established automotive workshop known for servicing and modifying high-performance vehicles, including those made by Holden. Holden, a former Australian car manufacturer, produced iconic models like the Commodore and Monaro, which became popular platforms for performance upgrades. Our vendor purchased this F320-C Monaro around three years ago, making it the 16th Holden he has owned, so it has certainly been in good hands for the past few years! CAPA could be compared to the likes of Alpina or AMG, they take the car from new and assign it a new VIN number and then proceed to re-engineer virtually everything. The '320' refers to 320KW of power, or 430bhp. This incredible power figure is achieved by CAPA via a vast array of upgrades to the already potent LS1 5.7 litre V8 including an uprated crankshaft, valve springs, induction system, larger throttle bodies, modified sump, 2.5” stainless steel exhaust, 4-1 long tube headers and many other changes. This example is fitted with the 4L60E six-speed automatic gearbox and performance limited slip differential. The car handles well too, thanks to CAPA's own suspension setup with six link independent rear suspension and AP Racing six piston front brakes with 360mm discs and 320mm rears and lightweight alloy wheels. These cars offer serious competition to the likes of BMW M3's and Mercedes AMG's of the era, with the added benefit that you're almost guaranteed to never pass another one in the street, so it's sure to attract attention at any event you attend.

Condition wise, the car is excellent. The history file details a large amount of work carried out in our vendors ownership, most recently at Walkinshaw Performance Ltd. A major service was carried out in June 2024 including a suspension refresh and new AP brakes were fitted in 2021 at a cost of nearly £3,000. A full respray was carried out in June 2002 to a very high standard, the car now gleams and looks show ready, the supporting invoice is in the history file showing an expenditure of over £4,800.
