We have an original Dutch supplied 1963 Ford Taunus 17M Super. Let's immediately get to the nub of it: the car still has its complete first coat of paint! Both the in and outside of the car is wonderfully original and is in unbelievably fine condition. The 44,200 km on the clock is almost certainly correct. The “coachwork” is incredibly authentic with nice and thin, correctly aligned panelwork. The quality of the original paintwork is brilliant with a typical 60’s colour finish. The car has kept its original wheels with correctly sized tyres. The totally authentic interior is simply gorgeous. As soon as you pop your head inside you immediately appreciate that here we are dealing with a beautifully preserved original vehicle. Instruments and controls are also in a wonderful original state as is the factory fitted Blaupunkt radio. The two-tone vinyl upholstery is a perfect match to the exterior and is immaculate. The same is true for the carpets and roof lining.

Mechanically it has been very well maintained and it is immediately obvious this car has always been cherished. The Ford Taunus 17M was fitted with the top of the range 1.7 engine developing 60 Ps with a manual 4-speed gearbox. The modest 60 Ps may not seem a lot these days but don’t forget the Ford Taunus 17M only weighs 910 Kg. The engine runs smoothly together with its precisely working transmission.

The car comes with the original owner’s manual, Ford dealership brochure, a technical manual and the original sales tax return, unique! This highly original Ford Taunus 17M, still in her first coat and in wonderful original condition, is one destined for the truly dedicated Ford collector.
