The Ford Mustang has always been a car that lends itself to personalisation, but few examples can match the sheer presence of this extraordinary Deranged GT-S700. Based on a 2016 5.0 litre V8 Mustang GT, this unique car was built by Deranged Vehicles as a one-off showcase for the company's design and engineering capabilities and the only Deranged Mustang produced with the full widebody treatment.

The standard Coyote V8 has been transformed with a Roush Stage 3 Phase 1 supercharger, producing in the region of 670-700bhp, while a triple-adjustable coilover suspension, electronic line lock, Brembo six-pot front brakes and a valvetronic stainless-steel exhaust further enhance the performance. Visually, the GT-S700 is distinguished by its dramatic carbon-fibre widebody conversion, secured with titanium fixings, giving the Mustang a considerably broader stance. The arches house bespoke two-piece 20-inch BC Forged wheels, while an APR Performance carbon-fibre adjustable front diffuser and enormous rear wing complete the motorsport-inspired appearance. A Roush bonnet scoop, side window scoops, sequential indicators and bespoke lighting add further individuality. The cabin and boot space received a comprehensive leather and Alcantara retrim, complemented by the installation of a high end Audison sound system and custom steering wheel. The vehicle has received a PPF “track pack” and full ceramic coating treatment, along with the descriptive number plate GT16 BAD, which is included in the sale.

Built as a Deranged show car and subsequently displayed extensively, the Mustang attracted considerable contemporary attention, including an eight-page feature in Fast Ford magazine and coverage from CarThrottle. With its one-off status, 700bhp-plus supercharged V8, outrageous widebody styling and documented media exposure, this is a genuinely distinctive Mustang that would be difficult, if not impossible, to replicate today.
