1967 Ford Mustang "Eleanor GT500E"
🔍 Heads up: On our website www.pttmcars.com, under the Cars for Sale tab, you’ll find 100+ detailed photos of this car along with full specs and documentation.
THE ELEANOR THAT GOT EVERYONE DREAMING OF IT – 1967 FORD MUSTANG ELEANOR SUPERSNAKE, comes with Dutch (NL) registration.Â
This isn’t just another Mustang "Eleanor".
This is a brutal, Pro Touring Eleanor—reborn, reimagined, and pushing with more power than most people can handle.
And yes, she sounds just as angry as she looks.
We’re talking about a full-blown 1967 Fastback Eleanor tribute, built with a ridiculous amount of horsepower and a motor that’s basically a hand-built race engine with license plates.
If you know, you know.
And if you don’t—well, buckle up.
UNDER THE HOOD: KEITH CRAFT SUPERSNAKE 427 FE
Stroked to 510 cubic inches. 706 horsepower. 945 Nm of torque.
And that’s without the nitrous.
Hit the button and you’re looking at a shot of 150 hp on top. (installation hooked up, but not functional for protecting the internal components of the engine)
Specs:
- Shelby aluminum big bore FE block (4-bolt)
- 4340 steel crankshaft
- Scat H-beam rods, Diamond forged pistons
- Comp Cams custom hydraulic roller setup
- Edelbrock Stage II CNC heads (Pond or Promaxx)
- DEMON 780cfm carb, Shelby intake and water pump
- MSD ignition, Moroso plug wires, ARP fasteners
- Melling high-volume oil pump, Avaid front sump
- Dyno tuned and fully blueprinted
- Runs on premium pump gas
- Max RPM? 6200, but trust us—you’ll feel it way before that.
This isn’t a random crate motor, but a Keith Craft Racing Engines masterpiece—built, balanced, and ready to destroy modern supercars.
CHASSIS & HANDLING
A lot of Eleanor clones look cool but drive like old boats.
Not this one. This thing handles thanks to:
- 4-link rear with coilovers
- Coilover front suspension
- Subframe connectors
- Rack and pinion steering
- Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes (drilled/slotted)
- Budnik wheels with performance rubber
- 235/45ZR17 front | 275/40ZR17 rear
It’s tight, it’s responsive, and it’ll out-handle many modern cars.
INTERIOR & CREATURE COMFORTS
Inside, it’s all custom. You won’t find cheap catalog parts here. Every surface is either molded, upholstered, or machined. It’s still raw and race-inspired, but with enough comfort to drive across the country if you wanted.
- 1-piece custom dash and console
- Fiberglass headliner (painted and molded)
- Custom Corbeau seats with 5-point harnesses
- Power windows
- Vintage Air A/C with custom Eleanor-style vents
- Autometer Phantom white-face gauges
- Pioneer touchscreen, Kenwood 600w amps, subs
- Back-up camera hidden in rear bumper
- Billet hood hinges
- Battery relocated to trunk
This is the kind of interior that makes other Eleanor builds look half-finished. It’s super clean but still feels like a muscle car—not a luxury cruiser.
THE BUILD
Outside, you get the full Eleanor look. Pepper Grey paint with black Shelby stripes. Functional scoops, side exhausts, billet grille, fog lights—the real deal.
She sits mean and low on Eleanor wheels. The looks are the perfect intro to the mean sound of the side pipes.
Inside, it’s got modern, yet tasteful touches: sport seats, upgraded gauges, custom audio. Not too flashy—just right.
And yes, it drives. Like a wild animal, but one you can (kinda) tame.
WHAT’S IT LIKE TO DRIVE?
Loud. Fast. A little scary (in the best way).
People move out of your lane. Kids wave. Old guys get jaw-dropped.
You’ll find yourself talking about it at gas stations way more than you planned. :)
But seriously—despite the power, it’s actually pretty streetable. Fires right up, idles clean, cruises easy... until you put your foot down. Then it’s chaos. Glorious, addictive chaos.
