The 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible featured here is finished in the stunning factory correct color combination of Rangoon Red over a red and white interior with white power folding convertible top. This particular example is an early 1965 production model, completed at the Dearborn, Michigan works on September 15th 1964 and was subsequently dispatched to the Philadelphia sales office. The Mustang was just released from long term ownership in the state of Georgia were it was extremely well cared for by a meticulous owner. In 2014 a $4,000 service was performed including a new timing chain and new water pump. Today the classic Ford convertible performs as well as it presents with this example still being powered by its original, date code correct, 289ci V8 engine. A recent service has been performed and this classic Mustang is now ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next caretaker.
