Tremendous investment potential

A collector’s dream!

The 1965 Ford Mustang K-code Convertible featured here is finished in the stunning factory color combination of Rangoon Red over a matching red interior and beige power folding convertible top. This particular example was completed at the San Jose, California factory on September 22nd 1964 and was originally dispatched to the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. As an incredibly rare 1965 K-code convertible example, this Mustang is one of only 181 examples built; a number that represents only .03% of all 1965 Mustang production. This Mustang is the recipient of a concours level restoration and is still powered by its numbers matching “challenger high performance” HiPo V8 with 271hp. Its pedigree is further established by its lack of GT options as a non GT K-code was originally more expansive than a GT K-code. With matching numbers, spectacular colors, this rare and highly desirable model is one of the best examples that can be found on the market today! Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years.
