Purchased by Alan Mann Racing for the ’68 season, it was re-engineered by Len Bailey for Frank Gardner to tackle the ETCC and BSCC. Heavily developed, powered by a Cosworth FVA, and running all the Escort development mods, ‘CTC 24E’ would go onto take an overall win at Aspern, Austria and a class win at Thruxton. Today it is truly race-ready and powered by a 245bhp Geoff Richardson FVA.
