This authentic car from 1966 was brought from Portugal to Belgium in 2014.

It was inspected and registered as a classic car. The exhaust has been replaced by a

stainless steel version, with a sporty sound. The interior was renewed in Portugal, according

to its original scheme. These original 2-door Cortina GT's are much rarer than

the many Lotus Cortina replicas (note: the 77 in the chassis number shows this an original 2-door GT).

The odometer reading on the dashboard is around 88,000 km. This car is an ideal car for cruising with the family.

The car is sold with the rims and tyres like those pictured and with four gold Minilite rims and tyres for a sporty look.
 

The Cortina GT is a car from Ford, with rear wheel drive, a front positioned engine

and a 4 door saloon body style. The power is produced by a naturally aspirated engine

of 1.6 litre capacity. This unit features overhead valve valve gear, 4 cylinder layout,

and 2 valves per cylinder. It has an output of 92 bhp (93 PS/69 kW) of power

at 5500 rpm, and maximum torque of 142 N·m (105 lb·ft/14.5 kgm) at 4000

rpm. The engine transmits power to the wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. Stated

weight at the kerb is 875 kg. Its maximum speed stated is 153 km/h (95 mph).
