History

The Fiat Nardi 750 was designed and manufactured by car designer Enrico Nardi in Italy, who started his career at Lancia. The Fiat 750 Nardi was a tiny machine, assembled on a Fiat 500 chassis, powered by a 50 bhp (37 kW) 746 cc BMW flat twin motorcycle engine.

The Fiat Nardi 750 did very well in race events. Superannuated MG Midgets were no match for it, but it faced more competition from Bandinis. Nardi himself raced the a monoposto (one seater type) in the Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti' climb, winning in both 1947 and 1948. The Nardi 750 remained competitive well into 1953, against the growing power of Ferrari and Maserati.
