Beschreibung
Fiat 1900 Gran Luce coupé
The Fiat 1900 was developed by Dante Giacosa as a luxury version of the Fiat portfolio.
To crown it all, the 1900 saloon was joined by a coupe, the Fiat 1900 Gran Luce (In export also "Grand Vue" or "Grand Light").
It was the beginning of a tradition that every „large" Fiat was accompanied by a coupé, which lasted until the seventies (Fiat 130 coupé).
Like the Fiat 8V, the large coupé was built by Carozzerie Speciali Fiat Lingotto and cost as much as four VW Beetles in 1953.
The first owner of this Gran Luce of the 1st series was the Colussi Biscotti family (still produces the famous baked goods in Italy).
From 1961-2016, the car was second-hand. The Gran Luce was also carefully and authentically restored by this owner.
The Gran Luce has a hydraulic clutch with downstream dry clutch and a five-speed gearbox. This means that you can drive in a similar way to an automatic or change gears.
As another special feature, the car has a mechanical average speedometer, as standard!
The engine runs perfectly, the gearbox shifts silky smooth.
The interior is in excellent condition, upholstery and carpets are without damage or stains.
The paintwork has no dents or scratches, all chrome parts except the top bar of the front grille are in very good condition.
The moulding is slightly "wavy", but the chrome parts are very good. All add-on parts and emblems are present in very good condition.
Prospectus and manuals in Italian and German are included.
Documents and papers from 1953 to the present are available. This Classic Car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button.
