The Fiat 126, a worthy replacement for the Fiat 500, had undergone several transformations into convertible versions, some equipped with a roll bar, others not. The car we are offering corresponds to the second category, a true four-seater convertible, uncluttered by a central bar. Manufactured by the company Pop with a few hundred units made, this beach convertible is equipped with indented doors and a hood protecting the occupants. It is based on the 126 Bis, which had an air-cooled 700cc flat twin that had a layout that freed up space at the rear for a load area.
This car, with the odometer at only 10,071 km, is in near new condition, with its beautiful iridescent red colour and its interior fittings which feature multicoloured seats and a special steering wheel. Our Monegasque collector found it in Italy in 2015.
While being very usable, thanks to its manoeuvrability and responsiveness, this Fiat 126 offers all the advantages of a fun car, ideal for regions with a hot and sunny climate.
