Beschreibung

This gorgeous Fiat 1100 B Cabriolet by Stabilimenti Farina from 1949 is a unique, alloy bodied One-Off car. Farina started this design style for the 1949 Ferrari 166.

This car was built for a rich wine producer near Bari in Puglia, Italy in 1949. The family kept the car until 1984 and after that it only had 2 more owners before it came to Holland in 2016.

She has been restored in 1986 from bare metal with documentation by a well known restoration specialist but was virtually unused. Since its restoration in 1986 until 2016 it had done only 300 km! In 2016 she has been thoroughly serviced and had the brakes rebuilt and fresh tyres added to the Borrani wire wheels. A new soft top was also handmade with new woodwork inside. After the car was carefully run in after all these years it performed faultlessly in the Mille Miglia which is circa 1700 km in 4 days!

It delivers brisk performance and good handling and is a joy to use.

The car still carries its original coachwork, specially ordered by the first owner, who kept it in the family for 35 years! It still has the original engine and gearbox and comes with a detailed Italian history from new.

It comes with complete ownership history, restoration and service records and its necesarry FIVA A3 passport.

A very charming and unique car with lots of special details. She successfully participated in the 2017 Mille Miglia and could do it again. This is the ideal car if you are looking to enjoy the beautiful Italian roads with the top down. We are happy to help you with registration, transport and support.

Dutch registered.
