A true icon of the 80’s, the Pininfarina-designed Ferrari Testarossa debuted at the 1984 Paris Auto Show, astonishing the crowd with its sharp lines, deceptively wide stance, and wild ‘cheese grater’ side strakes.

Featuring a central mounted flat-12 cylinder engine coupled to a legendary Ferrari gated manual gearbox, this striking new Scuderia stablemate moved as quickly as its looks suggested.

Even today, few cars can match the on-road presence of a Testarossa, and a black example like this is a rare thing to come across.

This Ferrari’s lighting, seals, trim, and emblems are all intact and all look stunning.

The deep black paint of this exotic looks flawless, with no major visible imperfections.

The exterior trim looks clean and the alloy wheels present beautifully.

Inside, the Testarossa cabin benefits from cognac sport seats and a meaty steering wheel in lovely shape.

The odometer in the center console shows 74.020 km and looking at the overall state of the car, this might be just right. The original gauges are fully functional and feature bold orange accents.

The dark brown leather-wrapped dashboard is in near-perfect condition with no sun damage, cracks, or flaws.

The supple leather interior is hardly showing any signs of use and doesn’t need any treatment at all.

The headliner is also in great shape and matches the rest of the cognac-coloured leather interior.

The 4.9-liter 48-valve flat-12 cylinder is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox.

The engine starts on the first try and runs perfectly. The car steers, shifts and brakes exactly like a Testarossa should.

Compared to its predecessor, the engine and 5-speed transmission were moved forward for better weight distribution, which also improved the directness of the shifter.

The car’s underbody and panels look straight and we could not detect any major flaws.

The body appears to carry all its original tags and ID-plates.

Car comes with its Italian Libretto with Belgian 705 and a map with invoices.
