Vehicle History:

The Ferrari Mondial was presented to the public in 1980 as part of the Geneva Motor Show. The new Mondial 8 was the successor to the 308 GT4. The design of the car testified to the return of this 2 + 2 coupe.
The letter "T" in this vehicle came from the 312 T Formula 1 racing car, which had just won the Formula 1 World Championships and was also equipped with a longitudinally mounted engine and a transversely mounted gearbox. Here is the engine of the Ferrari 348 GTB with 3.4 liters capacity installed. Thanks to this structure, the entire drive in the Mondial T could be lowered by 13 centimeters, which considerably improved the road holding and the handling of the car.
This Mondial T was sold in Rome in 1990 to a later local politician named Antonio Liberati. No 30,000 km he drove the good piece. In 2015 the Ferrari was resold to Germany. Today, the beautiful coupe in the rare blue color presents itself in an exceptionally good original condition. Everything works just the way it should.

Der Ferrari Mondial wurde im Jahr 1980 im Rahmen des Genfer Automobilsalons der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert. Der neue Mondial 8 war der Nachfolger des 308 GT4. Das Design des Wagens zeugte von der Rückkehr dieses 2+2-Coupés.
Der Buchstabe „T“ bei diesem Fahrzeug stammte vom 312 T Formel 1-Rennwagen, der eben die Formel 1-Weltmeisterschaften gewonnen hatte und ebenfalls mit einem längs montierten Triebwerk sowie einem quer montierten Getriebe versehen war. Hier ist schon der Motor des Ferrari 348 GTB mit 3.4 Litern Hubraum verbaut. Dank dieses Aufbaus konnte der gesamte Antrieb im Mondial T um 13 Zentimeter abgesenkt werden, was die Straßenlage und das Handling des Wagens beachtlich verbesserte.
Dieser Mondial T wurde 1990 in Rom an einen späteren Lokal Politiker namens Antonio Liberati verkauft. Keine 30.000 km fuhr er das gute Stück. 2015 wurde er nach Deutschland weiterverkauft. Heute präsentiert sich das schöne Coupé in dem seltenen Blau in einem außergewöhnlich guten originalen Zustand. Alles funktioniert genauso wie es soll.
