The Mondial t arrived in 1989 as the final and most refined iteration of Ferrari's practical mid-engine 2+2, its "t" designation referencing the model's transverse gearbox. Enlarged to 3,405 cc and subtly updated in styling and cabin ergonomics, it remains one of the most enjoyable ways to experience a classic Ferrari V8-moreover with space for four, a rare feature for an open-top Ferrari!

This striking Mondial t Cabriolet was specified from new in the rarely seen shade of Verde Scuro over Beige leather, further complemented by an optional leather-trimmed dashboard. Elegant and unquestionably uncommon, it is a refreshing departure from the Rosso Corsa majority and is likely one of only a handful delivered in this specification.

Purchased new by its current Belgian owner and remaining in that devoted single-owner custodianship ever since, the car has been cherished from day one. An impressive history file accompanies the Mondial, with service invoices dating back to its production year documenting regular maintenance carried out by Monza NV Ferrari. Driven somewhat regularly through the mid-2000s with numerous trips from Belgium to the South of France, it had recorded 52,401 kilometers by July 2004. Thereafter, the car saw very sparing use-just a few hundred kilometers per year-until August 2016, when it received an engine-out cam belt change at approximately 55,543 kilometers; since then, it has traveled less than 200 kilometers.

Today, showing 55,708 kilometers at the time of cataloging, this Mondial t Cabriolet is offered as a highly original, wonderfully preserved example, retaining much of its original Verde Scuro paintwork and a beautifully kept Beige interior. With some routine mechanical recommissioning, namely a timing belt service, it would make an exceptional opportunity to acquire and properly enjoy a rarely finished, well-documented mid-engine Ferrari.
