It is not often that you can bid on a car that has been featured in the 'New York Post', that’s the case with this Ferrari. This Mondial is the alleged car of Nicole Simpson Brown, the ex-wife of O.J. Simpson (the trial which was watched by 95 million people). O.J.'s Ford Bronco. Simpson himself is on sale for $1,000,000.

In 1987, O.J. Simpson his ex-wife Nicole a Ferrari Mondial 3.2 as a gift, this Ferrari Mondial is one of the 14 (worldwide) Ferrari 3.2 convertibles delivered in white (between 1985 and 1988), it was delivered new on 8 October 1987 in California (where O.J. Simpson and Nicole Simpson Brown used to live).

After Nicole's death, the Ferrari found its way to a dealership in Mississippi with 73,000 miles on the counter (see photo of the ad). The car was then sold to a collector in New Jersey, they replaced the gauge cluster in 2019 and upgraded the rims with Ferrari 348 rims.

This much discussed Ferrari was finally exported to the Netherlands in 2020.

The Ferrari Mondial was manufactured from 1980 to 1993. The model had, just like its predecessor, the 208/308 GT4, an angular design by Pininfarina.

The Mondial QV (Quattrovalvole) convertible 3.2L V8 is the rarest version and a true collector's item (produced from 1985 to 1988 with only 810 units made, not even 2% were made in white).

From 1982, the Mondial had 4 valves per cylinder instead of 2. This increased its power from 214 to 240 HP. This version is also called Mondial 8 QV or Mondial 8 Quattrovalvole. They built a convertible version from 1983. The 3.0L was replaced by a stronger 3.2L engine in mid-1985. The 3.2L QV is the most sought after Ferrari Mondial.

This Ferrari is in original condition (interior, engine and transmission are all original). The car starts immediately, shifts through all gears, and idles nicely. The car had a service worth $ 12,000 in 2017 and the belts were replaced in 2016. The interior is in neat condition (see pictures) and features original Ferrari leather.

The engine space also looks fresh and maintained as well as the boot (including a matching spare wheel). The car looks good in the original Bianco paint but has very light wear which is to be expected on a car this age. The car also has the original manuals and toolkit. In addition, the car comes with a CLEAN CARFAX report.
