Für den Connaisseur sind diese Autos womöglich die am meisten unterschätzten Exoten überhaupt. Die wohl einzigen in Serie produzierten 4-Sitzer-Mittelmotor-V8-Cabrios der Automobilgeschichte, noch dazu aus der weltberühmten Sportwagen-Schmiede in Maranello... Trotz alledem, sind die Preise dieser 80er-Jahre-Schönheiten noch nicht explodiert wie die manch anderer Ferraris.
Bei diesem Exemplar, einem US-Import, handelt es sich um einen 3.2 Cabriolet aus 1985, also ein frühes Modell; und eines, welches bereits für H-Kennzeichen geeignet ist. Ausgerüstet ist es mit 5-Gang-Handschaltung mit der typischen geführten Kulisse für das reinste Sportwagen-Feeling. Der Mondial läuft auf angabegemäß originalen Felgen mit Michelin TRX Reifen, und verfügt über Klimaanlage, elektrische Fensterheber, Sportlenkrad und zeitgenössisches Radio.
Die Lackierung ist eine US-Nachlackierung mittlerer Qualität, mit Abblätterungen am Scheibenrahmen. Bei der B-Säule fehlt ein Stück der Scheibendichtung. Das schwarze Verdeck ist in gutem Zustand, wie auch der Innenraum mit schwarzem Armaturenbrett, beigem Leder und zweifarbigen Türverkleidungen.
Alles in allem ein Ferrari, der etwas Aufmerksamkeit erfordert, aber dennoch eine wertvolle Investition. Einer von gerade mal 810 gebauten Einheiten dieses exotischen italienischen Sportwagens.

For the connoisseur, these cars may well be the most underrated exotics ever. Perhaps the only mass produced 4 seater, mid engined V8 convertible in automotive history, born and bred at the renowned Maranello stable. Despite all this, prices for these 1980s beauties have not yet skyrocketed the way other Ferraris have.
This specimen, a US import, is a 3.2 convertible built in 1985, making it an early model - and one that is already applicable for historic plates. It is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission with the typical slotted gate shifting mechanism for a sports car feeling of the purest kind. The Mondial runs on the reportedly original rims with Michelin TRX tyres and comes with air conditioning, power windows, a sports steering wheel and a contemporary radio.
The paintwork is a US respray of mediocre quality, with paint peeling at the frame of the windscreen. At the B pillar, part of the window seal is missing. The black convertible top is in decent shape, as is the interior with black dashboard, beige leather and bicolour door linings.
All in all a Ferrari that requires a little bit of attention, but a worthwhile investment nonetheless. One of only 810 units built of this exotic Italian sports car.
