Originally supplied via New Car di Guido Zara & C. s.a.s., Italy, in May 1990 to a Mr L. Hassiho of Treviso, chassis #085308 is 1 of just 1,315 F40’s built by Ferrari S.P.A. between 1987 and 1992. The F40 has spent the entirety of its life in Europe, residing in Italy for just under a decade before making its way to the Netherlands where it was subsequently sold to a collector based in Amsterdam. During this ownership, the car was used sparingly albeit regularly maintained by specialist Italauto, evident from the numerous invoices within the car's history file.

In June 2014, the car was sourced and sold to a UK collector via Kroymans (Official Ferrari Dealer) with 7,789 Km’s. The F40 underwent an inspection, a comprehensive service including the replacement of both fuel cells and other works in preparation for its new custodian. The car was then Classiche Certified, UK registered and transported to the customer shortly after.

The car has remained in single ownership since its arrival to the UK as part of a prominent collection of both notable classic and supercars - used conscientiously, the F40 has now covered a total of just 9,262 Km’s (5,750 miles). The F40 retains its original tools and is accompanied by a history file containing numerous invoices, registration documents and more.

An exceptionally well preserved example, with visible weave on almost every body panel and likely to be one of the finest F40's available.
