History
Introduced in 1994, the Ferrari F355 marked a defining moment in the evolution of Ferrari’s mid-engined V8 range. Styled by Pininfarina, it combined beautifully balanced proportions with a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V8 producing 380 bhp at an exhilarating 8,250 rpm.
Its five-valve-per-cylinder engine, titanium connecting rods and unmistakable exhaust note made the F355 one of the most celebrated Ferraris of the modern era.
The GTS joined the range in 1995, combining the elegant profile and driving dynamics of the Berlinetta with a removable roof panel that could be stored behind the seats. In 1997, Ferrari introduced its pioneering electrohydraulic F1 transmission, the first Formula One-inspired paddle-shift system offered in a production road car.
Of approximately 11,000 F355s produced, only 2,577 were built in GTS form. Just 529 of these were equipped with the F1 transmission, making the F355 GTS F1 one of the rarest regular-production configurations in the model’s history.
About This Car
This rare Ferrari F355 GTS F1 was delivered new in Greece in 1998 through the official Ferrari representative, Genesis.
The car remained with its first owner until 2016, when we acquired it and subsequently placed it with its next custodian. Ten years later, the same owner returned the F355 to us in part exchange for another Ferrari, giving us the unusual privilege of knowing and following this exceptional example for a significant part of its life.
Finished in the quintessential Ferrari combination of Rosso Corsa over a beautifully preserved beige leather interior, the car is accompanied by an outstanding history file documenting its mileage, servicing and extensive maintenance.

The upgraded F1 system transforms the driving experience, delivering considerably faster and more decisive gear changes than the original arrangement. While it may lack the traditional open-gate manual gearbox associated with the F355, once behind the wheel, the immediacy of the shifts, the responsiveness of the Challenge steering and the unmistakable sound of Ferrari’s five-valve V8 make that distinction very easy to forget.
With its documented mileage, long-term ownership history, exceptional provenance and substantial mechanical investment, this represents a particularly rare and highly developed example of the Ferrari F355 GTS F1.
