Launched in 2004, the 612 Scaglietti honoured the company-owned coachbuilding firm that has bodied many of Ferrari’s most famous production models over the decades. Replacing the 456, the new model featured a front mid-engined layout that was positioned behind the front axle, which resulted in increasing the wheelbase substantially and enabling an interior with four full-size seats.

Able to carry a quartet of adults, the 612 Scaglietti was a genuine grand tourer that could take on and easily beat the likes of Bentley and Mercedes-Benz. With 540 bhp at 7,250 rpm, it could reach 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, and it had a staggering top speed of 199 mph. An aluminium space-frame chassis and alloy panelling reduced the car’s weight significantly from the 456, and it also increased its torsional stiffness by an incredible 60%, making this an excellent-handling car.

The car offered here sits proudly in its classic colour scheme of Tour De France Blue over grey. What makes this car particularly special is that it was ordered with the HGTC package. This included a gearshift that was 10% quicker, carbon brakes, sports exhaust, and a stiffer anti-roll bar setting made for a much more visceral driving experience. This option was by no means cheap, but amplified the capabilities and soundtrack of the already magnificent grand tourer.

It is hard to find a four-seater Ferrari in such an incredible colour combination and specification. Whether it is through the mountains, coastal roads, or the highway, this 612 HGTC is a must-have and a real star of the future.

Mit der Namensgebung des 612 Scaglietti ehrte Ferrari den zum Konzern gehörenden Karosseriebauer, der über die Jahre einige der berühmtesten Ferrari Modelle eingekleidet hat. Der Ersatz für den 456 verfügte über ein Front-Mittelmotorlayout, bei dem der Motor hinter der Vorderachse untergebracht wurde, was den deutlich längeren Radstand und das gleichzeitig große Platzangebot des Viersitzers erklärt.

Mit Platz für vier war der 612 Scaglietti ein echter GT, der sich mit der Konkurrenz von Bentley und Mercedes ohne weiteres messen konnte. Mit seiner Leistung von 540 PS bei 7.250/min katapultierte der 612 seine Insassen in 4,2 Sekunden auf 100 km/h und erreichte eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 320 km/h. Das Aluminium Spaceframe-Chassis und die Verwendung von Aluminium für die Außenhaut halfen, das Gewicht gegenüber dem 456 deutlich zu reduzieren, und erhöhten dabei gleichzeitig die Torsionssteifigkeit um unglaubliche 60% zu erhöhen. Beides verleiht dem 612 ein exzellentes Handling.

Das hier angebotene Fahrzeug präsentiert sich in der klassischen Farbkombo von blu Tour de France mit grauem Interieur.
