When the 575 was unveiled it was the fastest road GT ever produced by the Maranello house, with the most powerful engine ever mounted on a standard Rossa.
Its newly designed engine is a 5750 cc V 12, capable of 515 hp at 7250 rpm. For the first time, the 6-speed F1 automatic transmission, derived from Formula 1, is installed on a Ferrari 12 cylinder, able to push the car beyond 325 kph, with acceleration from 0 to 100 in just 4.2".
The tapered and elegant line of the 575 Maranello obviously recalls that of the 550, being always the work of Pininfarina's wise hands.
Thanks to its balanced and performing trim, the Ferrari 575 M has also been used in sports competitions in the 575 GTC version.
