There is always a large amount of hype for Ferrari’s latest track-focused variant of their mid-engined V8 supercar. What seemingly began with the lesser-known 348 Competizione sparked a revolutionary series of limited-run, rawer versions of their more popular mid-level supercars. The Pista (simply meaning ‘track’ in obligatory Italian) is quite simply a 488 Challenge car for the road. Whilst the 488 GTB provides a whopping 660hp, the Pista outputs 50hp more from a body that weighs up to 90kg less than the GTB. The weight reduction on this particular car is assisted by exterior, interior and engine-bay carbon fibre packages.

Finished in extra range Rosso Fuoco, further visual options on this Pista include yellow brake callipers, carbon fibre hub caps, the ‘Scuderia Ferrari’ shields and twin stripes. Inside the car benefits from carbon fibre seats & air vents, alcantara carpeting and headrest Cavallino stitching. The steering wheel and paddles also feature contrasting yellow pinstriping. Additional features include the all-important suspension lifter system and front & rear parking cameras.
