Perpetuating the tradition of Ferrari 2+2 coupes with a V12 engine at the front (330 GT, 365 GT, 400 and 412), the 456 project was launched in 1989 before being marketed in 1992. The Pininfarina designer gave priority to refinement and discretion over a sporty outburst, just suggested by the two double exhaust tailpipes. The work accomplished is remarkable and the aerodynamics meticulous. The sides are hollowed out to allow better cooling of the engine. Thanks to its lines of great purity and fluidity, the 456 GT symbolizes for some people the most beautiful Ferrari ever produced and is one of the myths of the brand. In 1998, the 456 GT becomes 456M GT (M for Modificata), as such the front end has been reworked and the air intakes are enlarged to obtain a better cooling of the V12. Inside, the dashboard receives the meters and the ventilation grids of the 550 Maranello, the habitability of the rear seats is also improved. The 456M GT was produced in 688 units until 2003 before giving way to the 612 Scaglietti.

The model we are presenting was launched on May 25, 1998 in Rome. The current owner get the car the same year and keep it until today.. Credited with only 32,500 km, it has been driven very little in recent years, nevertheless the mechanics have been started regularly and the car has been driven short distances to make sure it is in good working order. The timing belt was replaced in 2017, while the odometer read 30,241 km. The car is in good overall condition, its Grigio Titanio paintwork is combined with a red leather interior and black carpets. Note that the carpet still has its protective plastic film under the floor mats. Our 456M GT comes with its original pocket with all the notebooks and user manuals, its tool kit, its puncture-proof spray and its cover. We were completely satisfied with the road test and were captivated by the sweet melody of its V12 engine. An engine oil change was done and both front tires were replaced before the sale. This 456M GT is now presented at a very attractive estimate.
