Beschreibung

The limited-production 400 Superamerica series is widely regarded as the ultimate coachbuilt Ferrari of the early 1960s. This car, chassis 3361 SA, was one of the last short-wheelbase Coupes, whose aerodynamic design was inspired by the famous Superfast II show car. Upon completion, this Superamerica was displayed with two other Pininfarina-bodied Ferraris at the 1962 Geneva Motor Show. Chassis 3361 SA was then sold new to a loyal Ferrari client in Milan, and remained in the hands of Italian collectors through 2016. Recently, this largely unrestored car was exhibited at the 2019 Palm Beach Cavallino Classic, where it won the coveted Preservation Award. Certified by the Ferrari Classiche department and handsomely presented in its Blu Notte livery with original natural-colored leather, this 400 Superamerica Series I Coupe Aerodinamico is among the finest models of this rare breed.
