Beschreibung

The 365 GT4 2+2 is very rare, only 525 were produced, of which 390 were left-hand drive. All had air conditioning, power steering as standard and a 5-speed manual transmission.

A unique NFT is also sold separately for this car in the dedicated NFT auction, which starts on 20 May 2022.

This car has a clear and well-known history documented from day one:

- It was delivered new in Italy, via the ‘Garage Mille Miglia’ in Bolzano, to a construction company as a display car, where it was kept until 1982;

- Later, it was registered with number plate PD628518 under the name of Ms Liliana Alibardi of Padua in October 1982, as a 30th birthday present from an admirer! The woman found neither the car nor the admirer to her liking and resold it immediately afterwards to a friend of hers, Mrs Gianna Salin of Vicenza, owner and partner of the still existing ‘SALIN’, one of the leading manufacturers of ‘cases and gold parts of the best Swiss watchmaking’, and registered with number plate VI537246.

- In 1987, this Ferrari was then registered with number plate PN241128, which it still has today, purchased by the famous writer and art scholar Italo Furlan, son of the sculptor Ado Furlan to whom the Furlan Foundation is dedicated.
The writer fell in love with the Ferrari, which he kept until his death; his heirs sold the car in 2015 to a couple of family friends who rebuilt the car that had been left idle for many years.

At the time of purchase, the Ferrari was in working order and with its original details, such as the rare rims with centre ‘Ferrari’ wing nut inherited from the BB512 sports car, but in need of care.

The bodywork was thus completely restored in the original Hyperion Blue, the car’s launch colour, with a high-quality paintwork using the original Lechler formula and completely removing the old paint that was in very poor condition (as shown in photos).

The mechanics was thoroughly serviced, documented with photos and invoices: the brakes were fully restored with overhaul of callipers, brake master cylinder and original ATE hoses; the shock absorbers and front suspension were restored; a complete new stainless steel exhaust was installed; a new clutch was installed, in addition to a complete overhaul including oils, filters and spark plugs, a carburettor tune-up and slight improvements. The car is ready to drive and enjoy the full and powerful sound of the 4400 cc Ferrari V12 engine with six WEBER carburettors and manual transmission.

It still has the original Ferrari factory interior assembled by Pininfarina, which was treated with nourishing care and is in excellent original condition, as well as the original blue genuine wool carpet. A complete electrical check was already carried out.

The air conditioning compressor works, but it doesn’t blow cold air, as the whole system is not filled and wasn’t overhauled.

The underbody is very solid and original and doesn’t need any work.

Mileage is original and documented by the original Ferrari service book, which also shows the original engine on the car.

Some videos of the car, engine and road driving are available, please contact Catawiki.
